18 Apr Instructions for paying insurance contributions by bank transfer
To pay your social security contributions, you must first have the notice of payment. Below, there are detailed instructions on how to pay, as well as some pictures from a random bank showing the exact payment steps that need to be followed. The payment of contributions via e-banking is made using the codes described in each case, selecting the special payment category “INSURANCE FUNDS”.
For the payment of:
1. SELF EMPLOYED AND ENTREPRENEURS EFKA
On the Notification of Payment of Insurance Contributions there are the 25-digit code RF, which is the same every time from 2020 onwards, the payment amount and the date of late payment.
After logging in to your personal bank account (any bank), select PAYMENTS → “INSURANCE FUNDS” and in the search field write “EFKA (OAEE, OGA, ETAA, ETAP-MME)” or select it from the menu.
Then, select the account from which you wish to pay and fill in the “Payment Code” (RF) found on the notice and the payment amount. You can optionally write a comment. Once you have completed the entry, select “Continue”. In the i-code field enter the unique code (OTP) that you will receive via SMS on your mobile phone during the process. After you make sure that all the data is correct, click “Confirm”.
In the last step of “Completion”, you can see the transaction number, the date of execution and the i-code confirmation number. There is also the option to cancel the transaction by clicking on the “Cancel Payment” button, but also to “download” the proof of transfer in printable form by selecting “View PDF”.

On the TEKA Insurance Contribution Payment Notification there are the 25-digit code RF, which is the same each time, and the payment amount.
After logging in to your personal bank account (any bank), select PAYMENTS → “INSURANCE FUNDS” → E-EFKA/INSURANCE FUNDS → E-EFKA/INSURANCE FUNDS NON-SALARIED FOR TEKA. Then, select the account from which you wish to pay and fill in the “Payment Code” (RF) found on the notice and the payment amount. You can optionally write a comment.
Once you have completed the entry, select “Continue”. In the i-code field enter the unique code (OTP) that you will receive via SMS on your mobile phone during the process. After you make sure that all the data is correct, click “Confirm”. In the last step of “Completion”, you can see the transaction number, the date of execution and the i-code confirmation number. There is also the option to cancel the transaction by clicking on the “Cancel Payment” button, but also to “download” the proof of transfer in printable form by selecting “View PDF”.
3. EFKA EMPLOYER’S CONTRIBUTIONS
On the copy of the Proof of Submission of the APS there is the ID of the current contribution payment (Τ.Π.Τ.Ε.), that consists of 30 digits.
After logging in to your personal bank account (any bank) , select PAYMENTS-« ΙΝSURANCE FUNDS» and in the search field write “EFKA EMPLOYER’S CONTRIBUTIONS” or select it from the menu. Then, select the account from which you wish to pay and fill in the “Payment Code” (Τ.Π.Τ.Ε.) found on the notice and the payment amount. You can optionally write a comment. Once you have completed the entry, select “Continue”. In the i-code field enter the unique code (OTP) that you will receive via SMS on your mobile phone during the process. The debtor’s ID consists of 20 digits and always remains the same for each insurance institution e. g. IKA EMPLOYER, NON-EMPLOYEE, etc. After logging in to your personal bank account (any bank), select PAYMENTS-«ΙΝSURANCE FUNDS» and in the search field write ΚΕΑΟ or select it from the menu. Then select the account from which you wish to pay με and fill in the “Payment Code” (RF) found on the notice and the payment amount. You can optionally write a comment.
